Backend
The backend (sometimes referred to as the origin server) is a server identified by its IP address or hostname, from which KurocoEdge retrieves content.
Backend used by KurocoEdge needs to be registered beforehand from the Backend List, and the registered backend is utilized in the following cases:
Default Backend
The backend to which KurocoEdge goes to retrieve content by default can be changed in the Deployment Settings of the rule list page. Also, for all KurocoEdge accounts, a default backend that can be used for testing purposes is registered by default.
Backend URL
Backend URL is used when operating KurocoEdge as a reverse proxy and specifying a different destination for content based on conditions, apart from the default. Set this in the execution section within the request tab of Rule Editing.
For specific usage, refer to the following documentation:
API Variables
API variables are used when fetching data from a specified endpoint and using it with KurocoEdge. Set these in the conditions/variables section within the request tab of Rule Editing. Please register the domain of the endpoint to which KurocoEdge sends requests as a backend.
